Yumi in Pelham Manor delivers exactly what you'd expect from a good hibachi experience: great-tasting food, entertaining chefs, and that familiar sizzle of the grill. Everything from the tender steak to the flavorful fried rice hit the spot. The service was efficient, and the ambiance was lively without being overbearing. That said, it didn't quite hit the 5-star mark for me because, while enjoyable, the experience felt pretty standard. There wasn't anything unique or standout that would elevate it above other hibachi spots. If you're craving a classic hibachi meal done right, Yumi is a solid choice. Just don't expect anything beyond the tried-and-true hibachi formula.

I love this place. It is never too busy, family friendly and always clean. I enjoy the portions and how well the food is prepped in order to cook later. The price is also a decent price when it comes to location and food. All sits right. The staff is friendly and won't try to slide tip without prior consent.

The food was great! The service was nice. And the ambiance was very cozy. My husband ordered the hitbachi shrimp and chicken combo while I got the Thai casserole. The flavors were absolutely delicious.

This place is the best and the chefs love to interact with guests also they pick 1 person to pick to help him cook and the food I wish this app had 10 stars.

As always, I love this restaurant celebrated my birthday dinner here with my daughters. (1 is missing) I love their food. Prices are being a lil expensive, but I still eat here. The appetizers are guuuuddd too.

This restaurant is welcoming, however, although we were the only ones in the seating section, the service felt rushed. By the time we left, there were several people there at closing so the rushiness was confusing. It made me feel like they were closing but 2 hours later, they were still taking guests. I had the crispy orange beef with brown rice and absolutely do not suggest this. The orange sauce was overtaking the actual meat. The meat was overtaken by the actual /hard batter or crispness. It was like eating chips with sauce. The brown rice was tasteless and was so dry I couldn't swallow it without drinking. I've had Japanese rice and it's been nice, soft and tasty, but not here. As for the drinks, they were good! I wouldn't recommend eating non Hibachi food there I would recommend having drinks at the bar.

I was put onto this spot from some old friends when we had a get together. I was surprised that I did not know about this place, especially since it was not that far from where I live. When I got there, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The outside wasn't much to look at and the inside seemed a little cheesy, but the there was no wait and the menu was large. The service was good and they did all of the typical tricks, but I really cared about the quality of the food. The food was on point and the leftovers reheat well the next day. I will definitely go back when in the area.
